Salt caves are all the rage these days, and I love to meditate at my local salt cave. This salt cave meditation is designed to be used at The Centered Stone salt cave in American Fork, Utah, but can be used in any salt cave with a small modification mentioned in the meditations. This meditation is recorded with the intention to help you achieve maximum benefits from the salt-infused air in the salt cave, by incorporating breathing techniques, mindfulness, visualization, and quieting the mind to help de-stress, relax, rejuvenate, and help ease the emotional and physical bodies of pain.
You do not need to be an expert in meditation, and in fact, if you are a beginner, this meditation is perfect for the beginner, as well as any seasoned meditation practitioners.
This meditation is designed to last 35- 40 minutes, with a typical 45 minute salt cave session in mind. The extra minutes are to allow you to find a comfortable spot on the salt, in a reclining chair, or other comfortable position of choice before beginning your meditation, as well as to fully come back to the present moment after your meditation, before your salt session ends.
